tus Protocol
tus is an open protocol for resumable file uploads. Use it for reliable uploads that can survive network interruptions.
Why tus?
- Resumable: Continue uploads after network failures
- Efficient: Resume from where you left off, not from the beginning
- Standardized: Well-defined protocol with many server implementations
- Chunked: Automatically handles large files
Installation
npm install @samithahansaka/dropup tus-js-client
tus-js-client is a peer dependency.
